Business Development Executive (BDE) – IT

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Executive with a strong background in IT to join our team. As a BDE, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding our client base in the IT sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify Prospects: Research and identify potential clients in the IT industry who may benefit from our services or products.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Client Engagement: Reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking events, to introduce our IT solutions.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Understand the specific needs and challenges of potential clients and tailor our offerings to meet their requirements.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients, highlighting the value of our IT solutions.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals for the company.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up on opportunities to ensure a steady flow of new business.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of proven IT business development or sales success.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the IT industry, including emerging technologies and trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Networking Skills: Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships within the IT community.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address client needs effectively.
  • Result-Driven: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with IT products and services is a plus.
